forget falstaff

01.26.2005 // 10:44 p.m.

after completely breaking down and crying about who knows what, i somehow managed to pull myself together and get through all of my assignments without further incident

on today's agenda... shakespeare's 2 henry iv... it was really not so bad... although, it's far from being my favorite shakespearean play... (yawn)... quite honestly, i'm fed up with falstaff (who i find more grating than he is humorous) and really, i couldn't care less about prince hal in the first place...

my other assignments were some readings about the ever so brilliant percy shelley's melodramatic and melancholy existence... and poetry paraphrases for the cloud, ode: to the west wind, o world! o life! o time!, and ozymandias... i do so love percy shelley... i do so want a tormented poet in my life (but i'll glad settle for a tortured musician or artist or the like...)

it seems cruel to paraphrase such a poet...

Art is the stored honey of the human soul,
